‘The course of true love never did run smooth’, so said Shakespeare in his play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Love is always tested, and those royal romances we examine tonight, certainly had their difficulties to overcome. Some succeeded in their romantic plight, and some did not. We shall examine the charts of Prince Charles/Camilla/Princess Diana, Queen Elizabeth/Prince Philip, Princess Margaret/Tony Armstrong Jones/Peter Townsend, Edward VIII/Wallis Simpson. And in the process, revisit some rules of synastry.

Wanda is the current President of the Astrological Lodge. She is also the current programme organiser, and co-editor of the Astrology Quarterly. She has taught in Europe and Japan, and has several books on astrology to her credit. These include the most recent ‘Chart Shapes: the code to interpretation.’ Wanda holds a Diploma from the Mayo School of Astrology and a Q.H.P. Diploma.
