This lecture will discuss the history and symbolism of these enigmatic houses. The 6th 8th and 12th Houses do not make a traditional aspect to the Ascendant, so have been seen through the history of our art as ‘Evil Houses’. The webinar will explore whether their disconnection from the Ascendant, and therefore the material body and realm, might make them more spiritual than we give them credit for. A therapist who is joining the session will also talk about the psychology of these houses and how they can be used to transcend.

Gill Dorren
Gill is current Vice President of the Astrological Lodge of London. She has been on the committee for 40 years. She still sees herself as a student of Astrology and researches cosmological and mythological aspects of the art. She has given many lectures in the astrological community and given the prestigious Carter Memorial Lecture at The Astrological Association Conference.
