In medical and horary astrology, consultation charts assume a central place, but many astrologers relegate them to second billing, an afterthought. But the consultation chart can be one of the most incisive tools in an astrologer’s kit, useful not only for contextualising the client’s situation, but for optimising the client-practitioner relationship, identifying potentials and pitfalls, analysing the client’s overt and hidden motivations for seeing an astrologer, and pinpointing the most fruitful avenues of enquiry and courses of action to take. In this talk Marcos demonstrates the power of consultation charts using examples from his herbal and astrological practice.

Marcos Patchett
Marcos is an herbalist, medical and horary astrologer, formerly clinical supervisor at Middlesex University’s Western Herbal Medicine BSc & MSc courses (2013-2018), Westminster University
(2021-22), and Heartwood online herbal medicine programmes (2020-2023). He teaches at Kepler College (USA), QHP, and the Academy of Astrology (UK). His first book, The Secret Life of Chocolate, was released in 2020, and the “radio edit”, Pharmakakawa, was released in 2023.
