But the consultation chart can be one of the most incisive tools in an astrologer’s kit\, useful not only for contextualising the client’s situation\, but for optimising the client-practitioner relationship\, identifying potentials and pitfalls\, analysing the client’s overt and hidden motivations for seeing an astrologer\, and pinpointing the most fruitful avenues of enquiry and courses of action to take. This talk offers an exploratory look at Sappho’s mythic imprint through an astrological lens. Drawing on well-known chart examples where the asteroid Sappho is prominently placed\, we’ll explore themes of erotic expression\, artistic voice\, and sexual power — especially where sexuality becomes a site of performance\, scandal\, or resistance. There are no “dumb” notes in a horoscope—only notes asking for greater visibility. Huber astrologer Pam Tyler brings a lifetime of astrological practice to the art of seeing a horoscope through a psychological lens. Drawing on insights from the modern tradition (Rudhyar\, M. E. Jones\, and Geoffrey Cornelius)\, as well as her mentors Bruno and Louise Huber\, Pam will demonstrate the specific Huber chart factors—and selected traditional indicators—she considers when preparing for a consultation. His personal coat of arms included the Gemini twins and the figure of Mercury! This talk looks at his life\, his career\, and of course\, his horoscope.   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBernard EcclesBernard Eccles has been writing\, teaching and lecturing about astrology for over forty years. He was President of the Astrological Lodge of London twice in the 1980s\, won the Astrological Association’s Charles Harvey award in 2011\, and is a regular guest lecturer at the Faculty of Astrological Studies Summer School at Oxford. His magazine horoscope columns appear in eight different languages around the world.
