She will show evidence of the practice of astrology for life cycle events in European Jewish communities in the 18th and 19th centuries. She has published a book and numerous articles and chapters in edited volumes on an early Jewish zodiac calendar. Her current work involves writing about the use of the zodiac in Judaism in late antiquity.
